Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water course consists of three elements.

  • Self Study and Theory Lessons, in the classroom or online
  • 8 Hours of pool time, so you are well prepared for the Open Water Dives
  • 4 Open Water Dives, either with us or with a PADI centre abroad

We teach the course over two weekends the first in the classroom and pool, the second in open water.

If you want to complete the open water dives, while you are on holiday for example, complete the theory and pool sessions here and use the referral system.

Our Open Water Course includes a total of 8 HOURS pool time with a PADI Instructor so that our students are better, safer and more confident divers when they move on to their open water training.


Open Water Diver 2

Having completed the Open Water Diver 1, you are now ready to start training in open water.

Course training:

  • Tuition by internationally qualified instructors
  • 4 open water qualifying dives

What is included?

  • Aquatech drysuit training
  • All scuba equipment
  • Air fills
  • PADI Openwater Diver Certification eCARD

Whats next?

If you are a referral student from another school the upgrade will be two days Open Water and an initial extra pool session. The pool session will be £30 and will cover a review of your skills, the Open water section will be £175 including air, scuba equipment, Certification eCARD. All open water training is completed in drysuits, we want to prepare you for diving in British waters.

If you are already a PADI SCUBA diver then the upgrade cost is £275 excluding materials as you should have been given these by your school.
